Even though this wasn’t the outcome we hoped for, it was the honor of a lifetime to be a candidate for the NC House District 79. This experience was very rewarding. I learned a lot and met people who have become close friends.

My team and I put in some incredibly hard work over the last 9 months. I am forever grateful to everyone who put in so many hours for Team Bryson and everyone who believed in me and my mission of “Putting People First.”

I want to especially thank Brittany and our kids, Antoinette Boskey, Wray Simpson, Libbie Griffin, Jean Friend, Ed Daily, TT and Jayna Ellis, Valerie McEwan, Adam Wright, Mark Ulrey, Jeremy Belch, Sandra Penn, Leander Morgan, Jamee Harris, Jim Gilmore, Dick and June Steward, Jim and Martha McCormick, Valeria Truitt, the Franks Family, Amanda Litman and Ross Rocketto at Run for Something, the great folks at NC State AFL-CIO, and everyone else who voted, volunteered or donated.

This won’t be the last you see of me. I am determined to continue being a voice and advocate for our community, even if it is in another capacity than your state legislator.

Congratulations to Jerry Langley. Best of luck in the General Election on Nov. 6th.
